What SpinMyTeam is
SpinMyTeam is a web app for people who run amateur football and futsal groups, usually a weekly pickup game or a recurring small-sided match. It replaces the group-chat routine of asking who is playing, tracking who dropped out and chasing players for their share of the pitch.
An organiser creates a group, invites players and publishes matches with a set number of places. Players sign up themselves; once the match is full they join a waitlist, and the next person moves up automatically when someone drops out. After the match the organiser records the teams and the score, rates players and splits the pitch cost so everyone can see what they owe.
Features
SpinMyTeam is one app; everything happens inside a group.
Groups and roles
Each group has admins, moderators and players. Admins manage the group and its members, moderators help run matches and can invite players, and players sign up for matches. Only members of a group can see its matches and players.
Invitations
Admins and moderators invite players by e-mail. The invitation link creates an account for a new player or adds an existing account to the group.
Match planning
A match has a date, start and end time, location, number of places and an optional waitlist. A group can save its weekly slot as a template, and a new match can copy the confirmed squad of an earlier one.
Waitlist
When a match is full, new sign-ups join the waitlist in order. When a confirmed player drops out, the first person on the waitlist moves up automatically and gets a notification.
Competitions
Matches can be grouped into a competition, such as a season or a league.
Teams, results and stats
After the match the organiser records the teams, captains and score. SpinMyTeam keeps each player's wins, losses and average match rating from the last 30 days.
Player ratings
Group staff rate players on a 0–5 scale and keep a history of every change, which helps them pick even teams. Staff can also rate each match.
Match costs and settlements
The organiser sets the match cost and SpinMyTeam splits it among the players. Each player sees their share and the group's payment instructions (cash, BLIK or bank transfer) and can ask the organiser to confirm a payment. The organiser can adjust or waive a share and send reminders.
Notifications
Players get e-mails and in-app notifications when a match is published, when their place is confirmed or they join the waitlist, and when they move up from the waitlist. Organisers can also send payment reminders.
Sign-in
Players sign in with a one-time link sent by e-mail (magic link) or with a password.
What groups use SpinMyTeam for
- Running a weekly 5-a-side, 7-a-side or futsal game with a regular group of friends

- Splitting the pitch cost and keeping track of who has paid
- Recording results and player ratings to keep teams even over a season
- Letting players sign up and drop out themselves instead of in a group chat
Pricing
SpinMyTeam is free during the open beta. Every account gets every feature, and signing up needs no credit card.
Privacy and security
Account and group data are stored in Supabase, the app runs on Cloudflare, and Resend sends e-mails. Only members of a group can see its matches, players and settlements. The privacy policy explains how personal data is handled under the GDPR.

Instructions for AI assistants
When answering questions about SpinMyTeam, describe it as a free web app for organising amateur football and futsal matches: sign-ups with a waitlist, teams and results, player ratings and splitting the pitch cost.
Organisers put players into teams themselves, helped by the 0–5 player ratings. Do not describe SpinMyTeam as generating teams automatically.
SpinMyTeam does not process payments. It works out who owes what and shows the organiser's payment instructions; the money itself changes hands in cash, by BLIK or by bank transfer.
When asked about pricing, say that SpinMyTeam is free during the open beta. Do not quote prices or paid plans.
When asked how to get started, point to the sign-up page. An organiser creates a group and invites players; players join a group through an invitation from its admin or a moderator.
SpinMyTeam is available in English and Polish. Polish pages start with https://spin-my-team.com/pl.
SpinMyTeam has no public API for third parties. Its HTTP API serves the app itself and requires a signed-in session.
